Hanada Orphange

murals

In collaboration with Time and Tide Africa, I led two mural projects for the Hanada Orphange in Mfuwe, Zambia. These first set of photos show the transformation of the young children’s room. I had the joy of painting with @timeandtideafrica @mulembandonji @kaunda_chate and Cleo!

We had a great time making the children’s room a bit more inviting and kid friendly. It was my first time leading a group mural project so I’m happy with how it turned out!

“Expressive Arts”

Classroom

We worked with nearly thirty school children ages five to eleven to decorate the classroom. So that everyone was involved, we painted their hands and then helped them place their handprints on the wall. They loved it so much that they kept cutting the line to get their hands painted again!
